Halloween!!

Our lovely purple-haired witch enjoying the festivities of the School Harvest Party last Friday night. We also participated in the Trunk or Treat activity at the church last night. Then she was invited to Trick or Treat with a friend from church for a little while. What a fun evening!!

Courtney has Highlights, thank you Aunty Heather!

Courtney has taken on a new look! She has a cute hairstyle, thanks to Kelsey, and highlights, thanks to Aunt Heather!

The Backyard Patio is finally underway!!

Carousel at the Mall

Always a hit with old and young alike, we had to stop at the Mall for our ride!

Rylee's special smile!

Sporting her new backback...she is just too funny!

The Trip To Utah...paintbrush in hand, smile on face!

Sarah and Andrew labored for hours preparing for my trip to help them paint their new home. Under the plastic on the floor is gorgeous hard wood. The blue is painters tape that they made liberal and great use of. All the walls, trim and ceilings were completely primed white prior to my arrival. We worked long and hard and the transformation was amazing!!

Cute little entry table Spencer found, painted and gave a distressed look to. Darling!

Fun, clever, colorful and creative wall display in the kitchen of their home

FIRST PIANO

This is a piano they purchased, stripped and re-finished and, yes, it is next to their bed!
Spencer and Brittany have made a lovely and inviting home of their one room apartment.

Lake Wenatche is beautiful, that is an island you can boat to and walk around on...

Tanner had the distinction and honor of catching the first fish!! Thank goodness we brought food, those fish are SMALL!!

This is the life! The perfect day at the lake for Pat is spent just like this!
'Cousin Fun' at Mason Creek. We stayed at the Rowe Family 'cabin' near Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth in August. We swam in the lake, fished in the creek and ate at the '59er Diner' down the road a piece...what fun we had!!

Kelsey and Rylee at the beach...

...what out for those big waves! Rylee keeps her mom (and everyone else) on the go, she never stops when she is awake!

"Who's the cutest girl?"

Kelsey has 'trained' Rylee to raise her hand when she asks, "Who's the cutest girl?" It is too funny!! She can also imitate a dog (woofs then pants), a duck, a cow, a horse (whinnies) and does other assorted tricks. She still does not know how cute she is...that comes later.

Just fooling around!

Matt and Paul peeking out from behind a tree at the park during our photo shoot!

Ryan and 'Little Ryan' Jacob

Spending time with Jacob and watching his expressions just takes me back 25 years to Ryan!! It is amazing how similar they are - right down to the dimples in their cheeks! Jacob is every bit as sweet a boy as his dad ever was, too.

Dad and Pat share a moment during dinner

Andrew and Calvin

Andrew won the respect of all the kids as he dazzled them with his soccer skills! His willingness to play tag and chase them has secured his place in their hearts!! (And the appreciation of all the adults!)

Sarah and Andrew

Spencer and Brittany

Ryan and Ruth Ann

Paul and Missy

All six together...

Hillcrest Park provided the perfect backdrop for our 'photo shoot' on Sunday afternoon.

Proud Papa Paul and Adoring Children...

I love Halle in this picture!

Matthew and Jacob

"Us boys gotta stick together, we're outnumbered!"

Rylee hugs Grace

We went to cheer Courtney on at her Horse Camp parent show. Rylee and Grace share a tender moment.

Nana's back yard fun

From the pool to the tramp to blowing bubbles and riding scooters, the action was non-stop!

Fun at the beach

We went out to West Beach and Cranberry lake on Saturday afternoon...the kids had a great time digging in the sand, splashing and throwing rocks into the ocean.

Cowboy Matt!

Matthew handled his pony like an experienced rider!

Our 'Happy Halle'

Halle at the beach, just doing what she does best and most of the time - smiling and laughing!!

'Smile for Nana, Rylee!'

Right down to the pink boots, this girl is all cowgirl! She was in heaven sitting on that pony! No fear at all, and determined to do it herself...

Afton and Jacob, their ponies and adult 'drivers'

All ready for a trail ride

We took the kiddies on a pony trail ride out at Lang's Horse Farm. Grace decided not to ride after all, but all the others had a great time. Rylee was pretty upset when she had to dismount. Then, to add insult to injury, we had to take her helmet off. She was devestated and unconsolable for a few minutes! Courtney rode her Horse Camp mount, Tory, unassisted of course! The others were led by adults (us). Very fun!

Our lovely little ladies all in white

We dressed all the little girls in white dresses. Left to right are Rylee, Grace, Courtney, Halle and Afton.
