Mouse Ears, Carousel and Water...

What kid can resist mouse ears? And the Carousel was Rylee's favorite ride. Dumbo was a huge hit with her also. Here she is dipping her hands into a stream and then rubbing said water into her hair, much to her mother's dismay...and she got so dirty! It was hard for Kelsey to see her little girl laying in the dirt on Pirate's Lair Island! She has never been that dirty before!

Greetings from 'The Happiest Place on Earth'

Pat, Courtney, Kelsey, Rylee and I spent 3 fun days last week in Disneyland and California Adventure. The weather was wonderful! The crowds not so fun, but we managed to get in the best rides.

A RETRACTION....

In a recent post I stated that spring had arrived in Washington...sadly, I must retract that inaccurate statement. It has snowed a little every day this week, however Sunday morning we awoke to this 'skiff' of snow in the yard. My poor tulips are struggling to bloom.

The long awaited event...

Yes, Courtney finally reached the age her mother determined she was old enough and mature enough to have her ears pierced. She was so excited!! She chose beautiful little sparkley pink flowers with a 'diamond' center! She bore the procedure well, although there was a tense moment when the 'gun' did not properly release the earring back onto the post. Kelsey helped her choose a nice assortment of earrings as her birthday gift. Now the wait begins until they are healed and we can start wearing real ones! She is growing up so quickly!
